Fitting housing with surface-mounted connection

  1. Proceed as described for the flush-mounted connection.

ATTENTION: The flush-mounted cable grommet is left in the housing and must not be cut off to ensure tightness and prevent moisture from penetrating.

  1. Remove the additional surface-mounted cable grommet from the housing.
  2. Drill through the housing at position AP. Note the diameter of the cable grommet.
  3. Cut off the cap of the surface-mounted cable grommet so that it tightly encloses the power cable and does not protrude too far into the terminal compartment.
  4. Guide the power cable through the surface-mounted cable grommet.
  5. Insert the surface-mounted cable grommet with power cable into the AP housing hole. If necessary, seal the surface-mounted cable grommet.
  6. Insert the housing into the wall sleeve/wall breakthrough and screw it in place. For wall installation, observe installation position TOP.
