Cleaning/changing air filter
- Clean the G2 air filter and the housing regularly every 3 to 6 months.
- Replace the air filter at least every 2 years.
- ISO Coarse 30 % air filter (G2), dust filter made of filter foam: Rinse out with clear water if it is slightly dirty. Replace the air filter if it is very dirty.
- Only insert dry filters.
Optional ISO Coarse 45 % air filter (G3), filter made of non-woven material Generally replace it with a new one, do not rinse the filter.
Check the air filter as follows:
- Pull the design cover off the housing evenly.
- Remove the air filter retaining spring.
- Remove and clean or replace the air filter.
If the air channel is very dirty, clean the entire air channel and all housing components with a vacuum cleaner.
- Remove the housing cover.

Internal shutter locking hook
- Unlock the internal shutter using the two locking hooks and remove.
- Clean all components.
- Insert the internal shutter. Ensure that it engages correctly.
- Attach and lock the housing cover.
- Insert the air filter into the round housing recess and secure it to the two cover domes using the retaining spring (pull the retaining spring apart slightly at the ends and slide it over the domes).
- Fit designer cover. This must engage lightly in the housing cover.
