Earthing of the unit and duct system

Properly earth units, installed in outdoor areas, in accordance with IEC 60364-5-54:2011. Take into consideration the requirements of earthing systems, PE conductors and protective bonding conductors. Attach a conductor eye to the PE conductor and screw it down properly to the unit housing so that they have stable electric continuity and sufficient mechanical protection and strength. Ensure equipotential bonding before commissioning the unit.

  1. Securely screw down the earth conductor to the unit housing (tightening torque 10 Nm).
  2. Ensure equipotential bonding before commissioning the unit.
  3. Connect PE conductor at mains end in terminal box with explosion protection.
  4. Connect PE conductor duct system to terminal on outside of unit.
