  1. Perform installation preparations as described in the chapter Wall.
  3. Prepare cover. Remove the cover before drilling the housing. Drill cover with suitable drill to avoid moisture and the formation of bacteria in the fan housing.

Danger of short-circuits and damage to unit if condensation builds up in the fan housing.

  1. Thermally insulate ventilation ducts properly. Allow for a condensation drain or condensate collector in the riser.
