Electrical connection

Danger to life from electric shock.

  1. Before laying the power cable, switch off all supply circuits. Switch off mains fuse, secure against being accidentally switched back on and position a visible warning sign.

Danger of short-circuits through incorrect feeding of the power cable into the terminal box!

  1. Feed the power cable into the terminal box correctly.
  2. Make sure there is tension relief in the case of a 90° cable feed. Tension relief to be supplied by the customer.

The cabling between the power and the terminal box must be permanent.

  1. Remove the terminal box cover.
  2. Separate out one of the two knockout points on the wall of the terminal box (see arrows).
  4. Make sure there is tension relief in the case of a 90° cable feed.
  5. Strip the insulation off the power cable and feed it into the terminal box.

  6. Danger of short-circuits caused by damp if the power cable is not inserted correctly!

    1. Insert the power cable correctly.
  7. Connect plug [9]. See printed label on the plug and the wiring diagram Equipment overview.
  8. Locate plug [9] on the plug connection.
  9. Lay the power cable. See wiring diagram in the terminal box.
  10. Put the cover back on the terminal box.
