During transport, ensure that the fan is not knocked around or does not become deformed. Only attach suitable transport equipment to the fan roof socket and do not load sensitive unit components. Observe the centre of gravity (middle). Observe the maximum permitted loading capacity for lifting gear and transport equipment. Use personal protective equipment. Do not stand under a suspended load.

Store the fan only horizontally on the roof socket and in a dry place (AC fans at -20 °C to +60 °C, EC fans at -10 °C to +60 °C). Avoid storage periods that are too long. Recommendation: store for a max. of 1 year. Before installation, check that the moving parts (impeller) can move freely.
