Electrical connection

NOTICE: Risk of damage to unit in the event of short circuits.
Insulate any unnecessary cable cores.

NOTICE: If the power cable is inserted incorrectly into the terminal box, if the cable grommet is fitted incorrectly or if the terminal box cover is not fitted properly, water can penetrate the terminal box.
Pierce a circle in the cable grommet so that it can tightly enclose the power cable.
The seal of the terminal box cover must be flush with the terminal box all the way around.

  3. Insert the cable grommet into the terminal box.
  4. Insert the power cable through the line feedthrough and cable grommet into the terminal box. If necessary, seal the cable grommet on site.
  5. Screw the line feedthrough tight.

  7. Secure the power cable in the terminal box with the tension relief.
  8. Wire the power cable to the terminal block → Circuit diagrams.
  9. Fit a service switch (e.g. HS 3) near the fan.
  10. Fit an On/Off main switch at the operating location.
  11. Connecting optional accessories → following chapter.
  12. Fit terminal box cover.
  13. Put on the upper part of the housing and tighten it with the 3 screws.
