Fault rectification
Fault finding and repairs only permissible when carried out by qualified electricians.
When the unit is at a standstill, check whether the thermal overload protection of the motor has reacted. The fan switches on automatically after cooling down.

Fan does not switch on. | No mains voltage. Check whether the mains fuse has failed. Switch on if necessary. |
Thermal overload protection of the motor has triggered. | Motor too hot. Wait until motor and temperature limiter have cooled. Cool-down time can take up to 15 minutes. |
Fan does not switch on. | Check impeller. Ensure that the impeller is not blocked by foreign bodies. Switch off the fan, secure it against being switched back on and clean it. Check the fan for unusual noises during operation. |
