In the shell construction phase the flush-mounted housings are installed, electrically wired and provided with a plaster protective cover.
In combination with the ER-ZR second room connection set and the ER-AS extraction socket, the ER EC/ER EC 2.1 can also be used for toilet seat air extraction (extraction via flushing pipe).
Final installation is undertaken once the plastering and paint work is complete: Place the fan insert into the housing and attach the cover with air filter. For covers ER-AK, ER-AH, ER-AB , adjust the setting values as necessary.
Flush-mounted housing
- DN 75 or DN 80 connection diameter.
- Plastic housing without fire protection equipment. Can be combined with ceiling barrier system.
- Sealed housing with water jet protection for areas 1 (IP X5).
- For the wall or ceiling installation, inside or outside the exhaust air shaft.
- Permissible air outlet direction with wall installation upwards, to the right, to the left or to the rear.
- Turn air outlet to the right or left by turning the housing by 90°.
- Plastic exhaust socket with airstream-operated plastic shutter, maintenance-free.
- Fix exhaust socket in housing, can be converted for air outlet at rear without tools.
- Easy-to-install snap-fit fasteners for fastening the fan insert.
- For the connection sockets of a toilet seat air extraction or a second room connection, knockout point at bottom.
- Electrical connection at side or rear. Cable feedthrough with stepped grommet.
- Can be mounted simply in the shaft with mounting support or the mounting grooves. Accessories for mounting support UPM 60/100 or mounting grooves ER-MS (installation kit: 4 hammer head screws, nuts and 90° brackets).
- Can be screwed directly into the front wall or ceiling (4 slots in the external frame).
- Mains cable type NYM-O or NYM-J, 3 x 1.5 or 5 x 1.5 mm², depending on the cover variant.
Fan insert
- Fan insert for installation in housing.
- Electrical plug connection for quick installation in the housing.
- Energy-saving EC motor.
- Motor not speed controllable.
- Air outlet adapter (scope of delivery) for conversion of air outlet towards the rear.
Covers
- Cover with exhaust air filter. Trouble-free filter change without tools.
- ER-AH and ER-AB: Barrier-free products, switch on and off automatically.
- ER EC/ER EC 2.1 fans with water jet protection for areas 1 (DIN VDE 0100-701).
- It is possible to rotate the cover by ± 5° to compensate for housings which have been fitted at an angle.
