Fault rectification

In the event of a fault, generally check whether the mains fuse is switched on or the safety shutdown has been triggered.

Causes for triggering the safety shutdown. Overheating due to dirty heating elements or filters, flow velocities that are too low, etc.

If safety switch 1 is triggered, the unit switches on again automatically after cooling down.

When safety switch 2 is triggered, allow the unit to cool down and then press the RESET button. The electric air heater switches on again.

If the fault persists, disconnect the unit from the power supply, affix a no-switching-on sign and have the cause of the fault determined by a qualified electrician.
