Intended use

The fan is used for air extraction or ventilation of rooms used for commercial purposes (dye shops, battery rooms, commercial premises, production facilities, etc.) with dangerous, explosive atmospheres in accordance with 1999/92/EC, articles 2, (4), (5).

The fan fulfils the safety requirements of Directive 2014/34/EU for units and protective systems in areas subject to explosion hazards.

The unit is classified as group II, category 2G for gas atmospheres or 2D for dust atmospheres, satisfies type of ignition protection “e”/“c” or “t”/“c” and is suitable for use in areas subject to explosion hazards of zones 1 and 2 or 21 and 22. Its suitability can be found on the rating plate. For outdoor use, the fan must be protected from exposure to the elements.
