Checking correct functioning

Switch on unit and perform the following checks: D = detailed check, N = close inspection, S = visual inspection

I	Direction of rotation / air flow direction.		●
II	Ensure correct power consumption The rating current (rating plate) may be higher or lower depending on local conditions (duct distance, altitude, temperatures). I_max may be exceeded at nominal voltage due to ageing or a reduction in terminal voltage (e.g. transformer).	●
III	Thermal safety is ensured by the motor protection switch system.	●
