Thermal overload protection

EZQ../EZS.. with integrated motor protection switch. This switches the fan off in case of overheating/overload.

WARNING! After a malfunction, the fan can restart automatically.

DZQ../DZS..B devices with thermal contacts connected to terminals. Connection to external control device with automatic, latching switch-off required, e.g. Maico MV 25. This automatically switches the fan off in the event of overload/overheating. Before restarting, wait until the motor and temperature limiter have cooled down (cooling time up to 30 minutes). Only switch fan on after this.

WARNING! DZQ 25/4 D, DZS 25/4 D and pole-changeable units do not have thermal overload protection.WARNING! A motor protection switch must be provided by the customer for these units.
