Connection via network/web server

Danger of electric shock.

Before removing the service cover, disconnect the ventilation unit at all poles from the power supply, secure against being accidentally switched back on and position a visible warning sign.

  1. Connect the ventilation unit and PC* to the router/network.

* System requirements: PC with Internet access and Internet Explorer of at least version 11.

  1. On the PC/notebook, set the IP address to automatic (DHCP) and save the setting.
  2. Enter http://maicokwl in the Internet browser’s address line. An input window appears.
  3. As a user: Enter user name `admin´. There is no need to enter a password. The web server opens. As an installer: Enter user name `service´ and password 6940. The web server opens.

You can now access your ventilation unit from any PC in your network via http://maicokwl.

  1. Undertake commissioning.
  2. Remove connecting cable. Fit service cover and front plate.
