Installation location, operating conditions
- For these ventilation units, a permanent installation in dry indoor spaces is prescribed, for example in a utility room.
- Complete all on-site work before installation. The ventilation unit cannot be moved once the duct has been connected.
- Can be fitted in any position: Suspended ceiling, pre-wall or sloping roof.
Risk of injury if the ventilation unit or front cover falls down.
Ensure that the ventilation unit and the front cover are fastened properly.
- The front cover must be removable at all times. Free access is important for cleaning and maintenance work: Working space in front of the unit of at least 70 cm.
- Note the space needed for additional components.
- Only use accessories and spare parts approved by the manufacturer.
- Select installation position so as to avoid contamination and draughts.
- Select the installation location and model for the ventilation unit so that noise emissions are kept to a minimum. If possible, avoid sound bridges with the structure by observing sufficient distance from other façade elements.
