Wall and ceiling installation

Installation instructions

The ventilation unit can be mounted anywhere on a flat wall surface. A condensate drain is not required and is not present in the unit.

  1. Complete all on-site work before installation. Ensure that there is sufficient space for the add-on components.
  2. When mounting on an external wall with direct ducting through the exterior wall, insulate the outgoing air duct and outside air duct with diffusion-tight insulation and seal the duct entry into the ventilation unit accordingly.
  3. Recommendation: Carry out wiring work on the electronic circuit board and install additional components before mounting the unit → Wiring diagrams.

Unit installation

  1. Screw the ventilation unit firmly to the ceiling or wall, on the two fastening rails, using suitable mounting material. Mounting material is to be provided by the customer. Note the unit weight of 25 kg.

Alternatively, the ventilation unit can also be fixed to the ceiling, using fixing brackets, with threaded rod and/or damping element. To do this, screw the fixing brackets firmly to the lateral perforated plate of the ventilation unit at the 4 corners. Use suitable mounting material and screw it firmly to the ceiling or wall.
