Product description

The air flow detected with the measuring probe is compared with the setpoint value of the control unit. If the setpoint is reached or exceeded, the integrated relay is energised. Ventilation components can be switched without any problems. Time stages t1 to t4, stored in the control unit, ensure a vibration-free start-up of a fan, for example.

Time stages t1 to t4

t1	Switch-on time after applying the mains voltage/supply voltage (approx. 100 ms). R1 contacts 3 and 4 closed.
t2	Time for start-up bridging (approx. 50 s). Relay R1 energises for this time, regardless of the actual air flow value. R1 contacts 4 and 5 closed, yellow LED [2] flashes. After that, the air flow monitor operates in normal operation according to the setpoint.
t3	Minimum time difference to restart t2 (approx. 300 ms).
t4	Sensor reaction time (approx. 2 s).
