Installation

External shutter does not close correctly if it is installed under tension.

  1. In order to guarantee the shutter function, only mount the external shutter on a flat surface.
  2. Allow sufficient space to the wall or ceiling.
  1. Switch off mains fuse, secure against being accidentally switched back on and position a warning sign.
  2. Ensure a level surface in the area of the installation site.
  3. Install wall sleeve/ventilation channel matching the nominal diameter in the exterior wall.
  4. Attach the enclosed empty duct [3] (for the connection cable) to the exterior wall.
  5. NOTE! Note the position of the connection cable in the rear panel of the housing.
  6. Align the external shutter and mark the position of the 4 holes. For spacing Technical data.
  7. Drill the 4 fixing holes and insert the dowels. Suitable mounting material is to be provided by the customer.
  8. Press the fly screen [4] onto the studs on the rear wall of the external shutters.
  9. Shutter function not guaranteed if installed incorrectly.

    1. Make sure that the cable [2] is routed tightly out of the external shutter and that it does not jam the inner slider.
  10. Insert the cable [2] on the exterior wall through the empty duct [3] and tighten slightly.
  11. Screw the external shutter firmly to the wall with 4 screws. Suitable mounting material is to be provided by the customer
