Electrical connection
Risk of damage to unit in the event of short circuits.
Insulate any unnecessary cable cores.
- Always note the relevant specifications for electrical installations and when fitting equipment. In Germany, observe DIN VDE 0100 and the corresponding parts in particular.
- The connection cable between the external shutter and the fan terminal box must be firmly routed.
- Only connect the external shutter in parallel to the fan.
- Do not connect the external shutter to a regulated voltage source.
- Design in accordance with protection class II.
- Switch off mains fuse, secure against being accidentally switched back on and position a warning sign.
- Make electrical connections according to circuit diagrams (Circuit diagrams (connection examples)).
