Installation of roof outlet duct

  1. Insert roof outlet duct PP 45 DFK into roof opening.

On outside of roof:
Place roof outlet duct on the auxiliary construction (*). Ensure a projection of 1-2 cm. Then align roof outlet duct horizontally and fix in place on site (e.g. to rafters).

On inside of roof:
The length of the roof outlet duct should be dimensioned on site, so that the upper edge of the roof outlet duct is flush with the finished wall on the inside.

If the roof outlet duct is extended, this connection joint should be fixed with adhesive tape.

If required, the roof outlet duct can be extended using a second roof outlet duct.

  1. Use appropriate material, provided by the customer (film, adhesive tape), to correctly seal the roof outlet duct to the roof cladding all around.

Incorrectly performed installation can result in leakage and consequential building damage.
