Installation instructions
- For heat recovery unit operation (ventilation and air extraction in a 60-second cycle), set up unit pairs.
- The room air control has plug-in connection terminals, which can be taken off for wiring.
- When using more than 2 ventilation units, we recommend installing the room air control in an electronic switch box, to be supplied by the customer. This provides sufficient space for the connection of the cables to the room air control.
- Only mount internal covers on flat surfaces and without any distortion to avoid noise.
- Units/controls not suited for outdoor use. Protect ventilation units/controls from moisture and wetness.
• Use RLS/DS controls only outside protection zones 0, 1 and 2.
• Use PP 45 ventilation units only outside protection zones 0, 1 and 2.
• Use PPB 30 O PPB 30 K ventilation units only outside of protection zone 0.
• Use PPB 30 RC ventilation units only outside of protection zones 0 and 1. - For required connection cables → Connection and wiring diagrams.
- Grid connection and 230 V input: Type NYM-J 5G1, 5 mm²
- Control cables: Type J-YSTY, 0.8 mm, 4 wires. Max. 25 m from star point, up to star point max. 4 m
- Connector plug for fan cable:
- PP 45 O: Connect enclosed connector plugs, after line feedthrough, in accordance with wiring diagram.
- PP 45 K, PP 45 RC: Wire control input and/or 230 V power supply in accordance with the wiring diagram in appendix. Connector plug for fan cable is plugged onto circuit board.
- The unit may only be operated using the voltage and frequency shown on the rating plate. For rating plate→ RLS 45 O or RLS 45 K control or PP 45 RC ventilation unit. Operating voltage for PP 45 O / PP 45 K units = 12 V DC.
- Suitable mounting material is to be provided by the customer.
- Sensors: Incorrect measured values can result from unsuitable installation location. Avoid disturbing influences and direct sunlight.
