Installing radio switch (EnOcean)

When radio mode is activated, EnOcean radio components, such as master or slave units or sensors, can be taught-in directly on ventilation units. Observe permissible ranges for radio-controlled units → Technical data.

Installation location: Do not mount receiver, with internal antenna, on wall side of transmitter.

 

Purely radio-controlled PP 45 system

  1. Simply glue DS 45 RC to installation location on the wall. Alternatively, the radio switch can also be screwed onto the wall (mounting material provided by customer).
  2. Use the "Learn button" to activate teaching-in mode on the ventilation unit. For more detailed information on teaching-in → Operating instructions.
  3. For basic unit settings, such as “Block Off function” → Installation instructions.

 

PP 45 combination system with PP 45 EOextension module PP 45 EO can only be combined with PP 45 RC unit pairs. Wired operation is needed for other unit types.

  1. Install the PP 45 EO EnOcean extension module. For more information → Accessories instructions. If necessary, plan a separate distribution box for the wiring.
  2. Connect EnOcean extension module to the RLS 45 K control (RS485)→ Connection and wiring diagrams in the appendix.
  3. Start up ventilation system, activate in EnOcean service mode → .

PP 45 Act EnOcean actuator

With the PP 45 Act EnOcean actuator, radio-controlled PP 45 RC PushPull units can be combined with wired exhaust air units (ECA, ER). Installation similar to light switch installation; can be switched on and off at the touch of a button. For more information → Accessories instructions.
