Demand-driven sensor mode
This operating mode ensures that the air is dehumidified in response to demand or that the room air quality is improved depending on the sensors in the ventilation system. If required, the ventilation is automatically adjusted using the humidity, CO2 or air quality value (VOC) measured by the sensor.
Automatic operation controls interconnected ventilation units following the stored sensor characteristics curve (linear course). Sensor value limits for comfort units, can be set with the commissioning software. The value limits for Object or PP 45 RC units are stored permanently and cannot be changed. For PPB 30 RC units, the limit values can be changed via the service mode → Installation instructions for final installation kit.
The demand-driven sensor mode is switched on manually with PP 45 or PPB 30 O units.
PPB 30 K/PPB 30 RC units automatically regulate demand-driven sensor mode. Operating modes for PPB 30 K units = automatic or system operation, setting with commissioning software (PPB 30 K) or with service mode (PPB 30 RC). Depending on operating mode, demand-driven mode is started in a continuously variable manner (automatic operation) or when the maximum permitted room air humidity is exceeded (system operation).
If a ventilation level is set manually on an RLS 45 K or DS 45 RC during demand-driven mode, the ventilation units continue to run for 30 minutes in this ventilation level. The ventilation units then switch back to demand-driven mode (automatic operation).
