Volumetric flow compensation in supply air mode for exhaust air units

For ventilation units on RLS 45 O, DS 45 RC: Function not available.

For ventilation units on RLS 45 K: Function for PP 45 O / PP 45 K or PPB 30 O units if they are jointly connected to the fan interface (Fan1/Fan2).

Use this function for the ER/ECA combination of exhaust air fans with pure PP 45 systems or ER/ECA combinations with PPB 30 O units.

Only single-type PP 45 or PPB 30 O systems are permitted at the fan interface (Fan1/Fan2).

The “Supply air mode for exhaust air units” function is only available when using the PP 45 Act together with PP 45 RC units.

Mixed systems can only be formed with RLS 45 K and PP 45 and PPB 30 K units. The volumetric flow compensation of an exhaust air fan in a mixed system is not possible.

Mixed systems can also be formed with RC units.

In this case, the volumetric flow compensation of the PPB 30 RC exhaust air mode is carried out by the PP 45 RC units.

This function is switched using an optional, central on/off switch connected to the control’s 230 V input. The switch must be released for the supply air mode function for exhaust air units when in service mode, parameter 230 V AC input → Commissioning instructions

This function can be used to undertake volumetric flow compensation with PP 45 units with exhaust air units, for example with Maico exhaust fans ER 60 or ECA 100 ipro.

When the function is activated, all ventilation units connected to the (Fan1/Fan2) fan interface of the room air control adopt the volumetric flow compensation – note setting of connected units and connected unit types!

A certain ventilation level is specified for the registered units/unit pairs – this depends on the number of units.

The supply air function is only ever undertaken by the ventilation units connected to the room air control affected.

The volumetric flow compensation function is not taken into account by other power units and room air controls in the ventilation system.

The same applies to the special intermittent ventilation and sleep mode functions.

When intermittent ventilation/sleep mode is activated, the supply air mode function takes priority. The timer time for the intermittent ventilation/sleep function continues to run in the background.

If the exhaust air units integrated into the ventilation system have an overrun timer, the duration of the overrun time must be selected in the room air control.

The overrun time can be adjusted in service mode (0, 6 or 15 minutes). The overrun time cannot be interrupted by pressing keys.
