ModBus interface (building control system connection)

For a building control system connection, the RS 485 interface of the RLS 45 O / RLS 45 K control must be reconfigured as a Modbus interface. The RS 485 bus is therefore no longer available.

The Modbus interface is activated in service mode or using the Commissioning software. The interface is set up with baud rates of 9600 or 19200 and addresses 10 to 50.

If the RS 485 interface is configured as a Modbus interface, no further components (ventilation units, sensors, power units, room air controls etc.) can be connected at this interface.
