PP 45 LT power unit

The RLS 45 O / RLS 45 K power unit is connected to the RS 485 interface.

Up to 3 additional PP 45 LT power units (power modules) can be added to a PP 45 / PPB 30 system. 3 unit pairs (6 units) can be connected to each power unit.

The first RLS is operated as the master and issues the commands. The slave controls can permanently change the commands.

This allows systems to be produced with up to 24 wired PP 45 ventilation units (6 + 3*6 = 24 ventilation units). For PPB 30 systems, the number of units is reduced accordingly (max. 3 PPB 30, 1 PPB 30 = 2 units (since there are 2 fans per PPB 30).

The power units are connected to the plug-in connection terminal of the room air control → Installation instructions for final installation kit, connection diagrams.

Recommendation: When connecting more than 2 PP 45/PPB 30 units, carry out the unit connections in a separate flush-mounted box. Generally speaking, install the RLS control in a deep flush-mounted box.

All ventilation units of a group (Fan1 or Fan2) for the entire ventilation system run together in ventilation and air extraction mode.

The addressing of power units takes place each time with a push of the power unit’s button [T].
