Preparation for installation

  1. Determine installation position. Ensure mounting is on a level wall surface. Note dimensions. Allow for a 7 mm perimeter plaster edge all the way around the soffit external grille.

The reveal element should not be installed in combination with façade thermal insulation with a thickness of 100 mm.

Risk of injury if the soffit element or wall sleeve comes loose.

Only mount on walls with sufficient load-bearing capacity. Firmly plaster in soffit element and wall sleeve.

NOTICE: Damage to unit and damage to brickwork caused by condensate in the event of incorrect installation where condensate runs towards the interior wall if the wall sleeve and soffit duct are at too slight an incline. Mount wall sleeve and soffit duct with incline of 1 to 2 % to the condensate outlet side.
