Installation
DANGER:
- Observe the requirements at the installation site, environmental conditions and technical data of the ventilation unit.
- Avoid damage to the connection cables during installation → Danger of short-circuits due to damaged connection cables routed to the outside. Installation only by qualified electrician. Check the connection cables after installing the unit.
WARNING
- Before removing the front/internal cover, wait until the fans have stopped moving → Risk of injury with running fan.
- Install the ventilation unit only on walls with sufficient load-bearing capacity and with sufficiently dimensioned mounting material → Risk of injury if the ventilation unit falls down. Mounting material is to be provided by the customer.
- When working at heights, use suitable ladders/climbing aids and ensure that they are stable. Work in pairs and ensure that you are standing securely and cannot lose your balance and that there is no one under the unit.
- When working overhead, protect your eyes and respiratory tract. If necessary, use personal protective equipment (hard hat/protective goggles etc.).
- Wear protective gloves when working with components with sharp edges → Risk of injury, e.g. from stainless steel covers.
- Do not stand directly under the ventilation unit during installation and maintenance work → Risk of injury from falling components, deposits or dirt.
CAUTION
- Sometimes the slide-in module is hard to pull out/slide in. Ensure that you are standing securely and cannot lose your balance and that there is no one under the unit. When removing and installing, use your hand to support the slide-in module from below → Risk of injury if the slide-in module falls down during removal (installation/removal/ cleaning/maintenance).
