Operation
DANGER
Danger in the event of misuse or incorrect operation by persons with limited physical, sensory or mental capabilities or a lack of knowledge. This also applies to children.
The aforementioned persons may only use the ventilation unit if they are properly supervised or were correctly instructed regarding dangers by a responsible person. Children must not operate the ventilation unit. Supervise children, so that they do not play with the unit.
Danger to life from toxic gases and smoke. These can cause serious respiratory injuries and death.
In the event of a fire or chemical accident (smoke, vapours) in your environment, switch off the ventilation unit until the outside air is harmless again. On PP 45 O units, the shutters must be closed manually.
WARNING
Operation with ventilation unit not completely/correctly installed and adjusted → serious injuries possible. Impermissible operation, e.g. when mounted on walls with insufficient load-bearing capacity, fans running when the unit is open.
If operated with a damaged ventilation unit → risk of injury Switch the ventilation unit off immediately if it is damaged, especially if you discover damage or faults that could endanger persons or property. Prevent further use until the unit has been completely repaired.
When operating with incorrect unit settings → Danger to health (eye irritation, colds, allergies). Only operate the ventilation unit if it is completely and correctly installed and adjusted.
There is a risk of injury and danger to health when operating with a modified or converted ventilation unit or when using unauthorised components. Modifications and alterations are not permitted and release the manufacturer from any guarantee obligations and liability. Only operate the ventilation unit with original components.
