Transport of the units

It is strongly recommended that you check the goods on delivery to ensure that no damage has occurred in transit.

The installation and transport location of the RLT must be suitable for its weight and dimensions.

The unit must be levelled horizontally and vertically. The unit must not be mounted at an angle.

The unit must be transported in its original packaging.

The RLT unit must be transported in accordance with the applicable transport conditions and must not be damaged during transport to the place of use.

Lifting and transport operations must be carried out by experienced and trained technicians.

The necessary safety measures must be taken on the unit to prevent cases such as falling and tipping over.

The unit must not be lifted by the maintenance doors, channel connection flanges, valves and door handles.

Ensure that the unit is balanced during transport. The transport must not be carried out upside down or inverted.

Transport with a forklift truck on a pallet:

The forks of the forklift truck must not touch the housing. The forks must fit into the slots at the bottom of the unit. To prevent the base plates from bending, the distance between the forks should not be too large.

Transport with a crane:

Ensure that the crane cable, chain and lifting gear do not come into contact with the housing during transport by crane so that the profiles and plates of the unit are not damaged.

The ropes, chains and slings to be used for transport must comply with the international "Regulations for lifting and load-carrying equipment and for loading and unloading equipment".

When attaching the unit to the load-bearing cables, ensure that the load is evenly distributed.
