Setting up / installing the units – General instructions
The RLT units are supplied in frame construction as a monoblock unit in one piece (no assembly required).
- Observe transport dimensions (doors and passages must have sufficiently large openings)!
- Install the RLT unit on a level surface.
- For structure-borne sound decoupling and vibration insulation, the unit can be decoupled from the building structure, e.g. with a MAFUND plate (strip foundation) placed underneath or an intermediate foundation provided by the customer.
- Ensure free access to all components (control devices, fans, filters, etc.) for maintenance purposes and to guarantee the possible replacement of faulty parts. Great care has been taken to ensure the tightness of the unit. Ensure that the channel network is also airtight, especially at the connection points with the unit.
- Care must be taken to ensure that the maintenance and service doors can be opened at a convenient distance during installation of the system, taking into account possible failure of the fan and replacement of the heat exchanger.
Observe transport dimensions (doors must have sufficiently large openings)!
For maintenance and servicing work, the spaces listed below must be available around the unit at the installation site.
