Installation
- Risk of cuts from metal housing plates with sharp edges. Use personal protective equipment (cut-resistant gloves) for installation work.
- Use a suitable lifting device/lifting equipment for installation, especially for ceiling installation. Heavy units may only be lifted by several people and/or using lifting devices/lifting equipment. Do not stress sensitive components. Do not stand under a suspended load. Use cut-resistant gloves. Observe the safety instructions supplement for centrifugal blowers.
- Only mount centrifugal blowers on walls/ceilings with sufficient load-bearing capacity. Mounting material of the sufficient size should be provided by the customer.
- The centrifugal blower can be screwed directly to the wall or ceiling with the motor base. Alternatively, screw a bracket with appropriate dimensions and weight to the wall/ceiling and screw the motor base of the centrifugal blower to the bracket.
- Degree of protection (→ Technical data) is not fulfilled if the ventilation duct on the exhaust side points directly upwards and no duct bend is fitted to prevent the addition of moisture.
- Risks of leakages if unit is not sealed tightly enough. Firmly screw centrifugal blower down with all screws. Fit suitable insulation, sound-absorbing and installation materials.
- Avoid transmission of vibrations to the duct system. Use flexible fixing cuffs (e.g. ELR) for this purpose, take distances into account.
