Installing centrifugal blower

For direction of motor rotation → arrow on motor housing.

For dimensions, hole spacing and matching range of accessories → maico-ventilatoren.com.

  1. Screw the centrifugal blower firmly to the wall or ceiling at the motor base. Make sure that the terminal box is freely accessible. The appropriate mounting material must be supplied on site.
  2. Fit a duct (folded spiral-seams duct) on the intake side of the connection socket that matches the nominal size. With GRM ES/HT units, the duct can alternatively be attached to the side panel. Ensure correct position, screw connection and tightness.
  3. Fit a suitable duct on the exhaust side:
GRK R with round exhaust opening. Use a suitable duct/folded spiral-seams duct.
GRK, GRM ES, GRM HT: Fit a rectangular channel on the exhaust side and screw it directly to the housing. For round ducts (folded spiral-seams ducts), fit a suitable rectangular to round adapter piece (URRI, URRI HT → ) and fasten the duct directly to the adapter piece.
  4. For intake/exhaust side without connected duct, fit a protective grille (→ ) for protection against accidental contact (EN ISO 13857).
  5. Fit suitable insulation, sound-absorbing and installation materials.
