Mounting and earthing of the metal protective grille

  1. Screw protective grille with 4 sheet metal screws (4 mm x 14 mm) to the side of the fan housing where the fan shall be protected. If necessary pre-drill a hole with diameter 3,5 mm in the housing.
  2. Screw earth wire (to be available on site) with a screw M4 x 6 at the earth terminal of the protective grille.
  3. Screw the other end of the earth wire with a screw M4 x 6 to the earth terminal of the capacitor (at the side of the fan housing).
    Alternative: The other end of the earth wire to be fixed directly to the outer earthing.
