Installation of shell sleeve

• Position the ALD outside air outlets according to the specifications of your planning office.
• Recommendation: Install ALD outside air outlet in the upper window area (right or left of the window) with an installation height of 2 to 2.20 m.
• A minimum distance of 110 mm from the centre of the core drill hole to the wall and ceiling is required.
• The design cover must be removable for filter change. The installation location must be selected accordingly.
• Do not drill in the lintel area of the window (otherwise consult a structural engineer). Drill a core hole with a suitable core drill for the wall structure.
• ATTENTION: Before drilling, make sure that no pipes, electrical cables or other objects pass through the selected drilling area.
• Always drill hole from the inside to the outside.
• Spaces between the shell sleeve and the drill hole must be filled and professionally sealed, on the inside and outside, in order to avoid secondary sound channels.
• If walls have a wooden construction, additionally seal the interfaces to this construction. Stick sealing strips to the wall sleeve in these areas.
