Zone ventilation
The optional zone ventilation generally runs in ventilation level II (nominal ventilation). The control distributes the air volume available over two room zones, e.g. living areas and bedrooms.
Zone ventilation starts when you call up the Auto Time operating mode (provided zone ventilation is set there).
Conditions for zone ventilation
- Installed by specialist installer
- Additional circuit board 1
- DIP switch set to zone ventilation
- Zone shutter with parameter zone control = yes switched on
- Time programme settings for zone 1 and 2 or zone sensor (automatic sensor mode)
Zone ventilation is
- either permanently assigned for zone 1 or zone 2 or
- automatically according to the air quality values with Zone Sensor.
The setting is made in the Summer and Winter Time Programme.
When setting zone 1 or zone 2
The set zone is supplied with the greater air volume. Reduction in volumetric flow parameter specifies the % by which the volumetric flow of nominal ventilation is reduced in the named zone (max. 60 %).
With Zone Sensor setting
The zone with the lower air quality is supplied with the greater air volume, the other zone with the required minimum air exchange. The air quality values determined with the optional CO2 and VOC sensors are evaluated for the control.
Zone ventilation is deactivated with a time limit if the device is changed manually to another ventilation level or if the bypass is opened.
