Air ducts/insulation
Heat loss, condensation, higher noise emissions with insufficient insulation.
Insulate ventilation channels sufficiently diffusion-tight. Good insulation leads to less noise in the ventilation channel and the exhaust openings prevents heat loss and condensation.
Air ducts, protective grilles, inspection openings etc. must be installed and insulated according to the requirements of the planning office’s planning documents.
Outside and outgoing air connections must be insulated diffusion-tight, to avoid condensation in or on the pipes.
Particularly in the transition area, from MT ducts (thermally insulated MAICOTherm ventilation duct system) to other air ducts or ventilation unit sockets, re-insulation is required.
