Cooling in summer operation (up to firmware version 1.2.7)

For ventilation units with a bypass or earth heat exchanger the cooling function is enabled for the summer season.

The supplied air is fed past the heat exchanger directly into the living areas. There is no transfer of heat to the supply air in the heat exchanger, the exhaust air is transported outside directly without heat recovery.

The control releases cooling via the bypass when the set maximum room temperature is reached (measurement on temperature sensor).

Setting with Temperatures/max. parameter Room temperature. Setting range Max. room temperature 18 to 30 °C, factory setting 26 °C.

Conditions for cooling

Summer season or T outside air > 5 °C with RLS 1 WR Solo or connected earth heat exchanger and T outside air < T room.

Minimum supply air temperature – T supply air min cooling

Limits the minimum supply air temperature if cooling with bypass or brine earth heat exchanger. The bypass partially closes and/or the brine earth heat exchanger switches off when the temperature falls below the set temperature. The ventilation unit regulates the supply air temperature to the set value.

No active cooling. Cooling function only if basic conditions are met.
