Auto Sensor operating mode: Automatic operation with sensor control
Auto Sensor activates automatic operation with sensor control to ensure hygienically perfect ventilation when the ambient air is polluted.
The air volumes are set depending on the measured values determined by the sensor. All CO2 and VOC sensors are taken into account linearly (continuously variable). Depending on the humidity sensors' settings, they are taken into account in a linear (continuously variable) or stepped fashion.
If ventilation level II (nominal ventilation) is switched on with an RLS 1 WR or via EnOcean radio switch, the ventilation unit runs in Auto Sensor operating mode (only if the RLS 1 WR is configured to Solo: Combi sensor operation parameter is set to linear or stepped).
CO2/VOC sensors are always taken into account in a linear (continuously variable) fashion.
Demand-based operation (linear)
Combi sensor operation parameter = linear
In linear operation, the humidity sensors are controlled continuously between the set minimum values (reduced ventilation) and maximum values (intensive ventilation).
Linear humidity-based control
Use the RLS T2 WS or commissioning software to set the Rel. humidity limit value min and max parameters in the Humidity menu and set the Combi sensor operation parameter to Linear. The system controls the humidity on the basis of values measured with the internal and optional external humidity sensors in a continuously variably fashion.
Setting stepped control as excess humidity protection
Use the RLS T2 WS or commissioning software to set the Rel. humidity limit value max parameter in the Humidity menu and set the Combi sensor operation parameter to stepped. When the switching point is reached, the ventilation unit runs in intensive ventilation until the value is 3 % below the limit value.
Setting linear control to CO2 or VOC
Use the RLS T2 WS or commissioning software in the Sensors menu, to define the CO2 limit value min and max parameters or the VOC limit value min and max parameters. Based on the values measured with the optional, external CO2 and VOC sensors, the ventilation unit regulates the supply of fresh air continuously.
