For these ventilation units, a permanent installation in dry indoor spaces is prescribed, for example in a utility room.
Complete all on-site work before installation. The ventilation unit cannot be moved once the duct has been connected.
The ventilation unit is designed for wall installation (vertical installation position) on a wall with sufficient load-bearing capacity (min. 200 kg/m³).
A flat, hard wall surface is mandatory. This avoids vibration noise.
Installation is also permitted on a suitable socket/frame with sufficient space for the condensate drain.
Allow free space under the ventilation unit for condensate drainage and an open drip funnel.
For condensate drainage, install a siphon with a slope of at least 2 %.
Use the supplied wall bracket and both rubber pads.
The front cover must be removable at all times. Free access is important for cleaning and maintenance work: Working space in front of the unit of at least 70 cm.
Note the space needed for additional components.
Only use accessories and spare parts approved by the manufacturer.
Select installation position so as to avoid contamination and draughts.
Select the installation location and model for the ventilation unit so that noise emissions are kept to a minimum. If possible, avoid sound bridges with the structure by observing sufficient distance from other façade elements.
