Ventilation: Ventilation levels
Selecting ventilation level
For ventilation levels → Setting ventilation level.
- The ventilation level is manually adjustable in the Manual, Eco mode supply air or Eco mode exhaust air operating modes.
- The ventilation unit runs at the selected ventilation level until it is manually adjusted.
- The excess humidity protection automatically switches to intensive ventilation when the set humidity limit value is reached.
- If the ventilation unit is running in Auto Sensor mode and the ventilation level is adjusted on the operating unit, once the time set on the Duration of ventilation level timer has elapsed, the unit switches back to Auto Sensor mode. The Off ventilation level also has a time limit.
Off
At ventilation level 0 the ventilation unit is in Standby mode (both fans off). The deactivation function ventilation level 0 can be deactivated with the commissioning software, e.g. to protect the ventilation unit from incorrect settings by unauthorised persons. When the off function is deactivated, the ventilation for humidity protection runs at least at level 1.
Ventilation level 1 – Ventilation for humidity protection
Ventilation for building protection (moisture) under normal conditions of use and partially reduced moisture loads. The ventilation unit runs continuously with a minimum volumetric flow of 20 m³/h.
Ventilation level 2 – Reduced ventilation
Continuous operation with ventilation level 2: Ventilation to ensure minimum hygienic requirements. Ventilation to preserve buildings under normal usage conditions, with reduced humidity and pollution levels at times (DIN 1946-6).
Ventilation level 3 – Nominal ventilation (factory setting)
Demand-driven automatic operation: Switches on with nominal ventilation
Ventilation level 4 – Intermittent ventilation
Time-limited intensive ventilation with ventilation level 4. The intermittent ventilation can be called up in all operating modes. Intermittent ventilation runs for a limited time (timer duration of ventilation level). Then the unit then switches back to the last ventilation level activated.
Ventilation level 5 – Intensive ventilation
Continuous operation with ventilation level 5. Ventilation with increased volumetric air flow to reduce load peaks (in accordance with DIN 1946-6).
