Modification of WS 75 APA/UPA/UPGA covers with horizontal installation position

Glass parts of cover and operating unit are fragile.

Take care when installing/removing. Risk of cuts in case of damage. Observe safety instructions.

WS 75 APA cover

If the installation position is rotated by 90°, no conversion of the guides, stops and locking mechanism is necessary.
With the installation position rotated by 180°, convert both guides, both stops and the locking mechanism. Always mount guides at bottom and always mount stops and interlock at top.

WS 75 UPA or WS 75 UPGA cover

If the installation position is rotated by 90° (to the right or left) or by 180°, convert both guides, both stops and the locking mechanism. Always mount guides at bottom and always mount stops and interlock at top.

Conversion of WS 75 UPA/WS 75 UPGA cover

Proceed in the same way for APA covers.

Remove lower guides, then screw them to the cover as shown in the figure on the right.
Remove upper stops, then screw them to the cover as shown in the figure on the right.
Remove the interlock, then insert it through the hole in the top of the cover and screw it tight with the threaded bush, as shown in the figure on the right.
Mount the cover as described above.

Affix the enclosed MAICO sticker on the bottom right of the design/glass cover.
