Preparations
Preparing the installation location → Installation conditions and preparations. Complete all on-site work before installing the unit. The Powerbox cannot be moved once the duct has been connected.
- Take off the housing cover of the Powerbox S (remove 10 screws).
- Seal any supply air/exhaust air connections not needed with EPP supply air/exhaust air plugs.
- Remove two retaining bolts on electronics compartment, take out electronics compartment and carefully put to one side.
- In the electronics compartment, break desired cable feedthrough out of housing (knockout points).
Sheet metal has sharp edges.
Wear protective gloves if necessary. Select opening to match position of power cable.
- Hook the electronics compartment into the two hook-in slots of the housing (crosswise at the bottom or on the left side).
- Guide power cable and any other control cables needed from rear of unit through cable feedthrough into electronics compartment.

EPP supply air/exhaust air plug
- Mount Powerbox S on wall/front wall/ceiling: To do this, hold Powerbox S against wall/ceiling, align (vertically or horizontally depending on installation position of housing). Unfold the 4 lateral tabs 90° and use dowels/screws to secure Powerbox to wall/ceiling.
- Connect ducts: Outside air/outgoing air connections: Lateral, DN 100. SA/EA connections: Insert MF-F75 ducts into air throughputs to point where stop is reached. These must audibly engage. Ensure that the duct connection is sealed.
