Function Digital input 1 ... 4

ER EC fans used in the WS 75 ventilation units each have two 230 V switching inputs via which the fans are controlled and can be assigned one of the following functions. An evaluation of the status is performed via the unit control.

Inactive (not in use)

All 4 inputs inactive (= factory setting). Prevents accidental triggering, for example, accidental starting if the connection is faulty.

External ventilation levels: Off, HPV, RV, NV, IV

Ventilation unit is operated in the selected ventilation level for the duration of the connection. After switching off, the ventilation unit runs in the original ventilation level again.

Error reset / Filter reset

Error reset enables error acknowledgement with a connected button. Filter reset enables the remaining filter life to be reset with a connected button (only for filter messages).

Volumetric flow compensation of exhaust air fan

Operation of the ventilation unit in combination with an exhaust air fan. Ventilation unit runs with 60 m³/h of supply air for the duration of the connection. This excess supply air ensures volumetric flow compensation in conjunction with the switched-on exhaust air fan.

Supplementary heat register enabling

A connected supplementary heat register is first switched on by an additional switch-on (enabling of the digital input). Otherwise the operation of the supplementary heat register is blocked.

Sleep function

The fan switches off for the duration set with the timer ( Set value: duration of sleep function). Start with a button. Once the time set on the timer has elapsed, the ventilation unit runs in the original ventilation setting. Interruption of the sleep function by pressing the button again.

Intermittent ventilation

The intermittent ventilation is started with a button. The ventilation unit runs at max. ventilation level according to the setting “Duration of ventilation level”. Once the time set on the timer has elapsed, the ventilation unit runs in the original ventilation setting. Interruption of the intermittent ventilation by pressing the button again.

Ext. on supplementary heat register

An internal supply air heat register can be switched on with a switch, if the “Constant supply air control strategy” adjustable value is selected for the heat register  followed by the “Supply air heat register Yes/No” adjuster. The heat register remains switched on until it is switched off again with the switch.
