Connecting the condensate drain
When installing the condensate drain, please note the following:
- Route the condensate pipe in the outgoing air connection up to the outgoing air outlet such that any condensate produced can drip away freely.
- Alternative possible connection if required by the local structural conditions: Route the condensate pipe over a siphon with an open drip funnel into the next section or waste water pipe.
- Install an open drip funnel with another siphon at the drain system side.
- Ensure that the condensate drain and waste water pipe are kept separate from a hydraulic standpoint.
- When commissioning the system, fill the siphon with water. If the system is stationary for long periods, top up the water in the siphon. Check the water level in the siphon at least twice a year.
