Preparation for installation, figures A+B
CAUTION: Possible cuts in the event of glass breakage, for example due to a tensioned pane. Only install the pane when it is not under tension. If necessary, remove the pane and putty it in without tension.
CAUTION: Risk of injury in case of incorrect mounting, if the fan falls down due to its inherent weight. The fan vibrates slightly. Install in windows with a thickness of 3 to 30 mm, using the enclosed mounting material.
ATTENTION: External shutter does not close correctly if it is installed under tension. In order to guarantee the shutter function, only mount the shutter on a flat surface.
- Allow sufficient space to the window frame or to the wall or ceiling.
- Do not dismantle the shutter under any circumstances.
- Have the window pane cut-out fitted by a specialist. For wall/wood panel mounting, drill a cut-out.
- Mount the shutter only in combination with the flange sleeve.
- Thoroughly clean the pane before gluing on the shutter.
