Wired systems

An RLS 45 O or RLS 45 K master room air control can have a maximum of 3 further power units and/or slave room air controls of a similar design added to it. A maximum of 4 control units can therefore be deployed in a PP 45 ventilation system.

You can only combine room air controls of the same type (either RLS 45 O or RLS 45 K).

All other room air controls/power units are connected via the RS 485 interface.

If further room air controls are connected, these must be defined as slaves in service mode → operating instructions or installation instructions.

The relevant ventilation units are connected to the relevant room air controls/power units. The connection of the ventilation units to an RLS 45 O / RLS 45 K generally takes place on the terminal block of Fan1 or Fan2.
