Installation
Shutter does not close correctly if it is installed under tension.
- In order to guarantee the shutter function, only mount the shutter on a flat surface.
- Allow sufficient space to the wall or ceiling.
- Recommendation: Install a Ø 12 mm duct in the wall between the two deflection sleeves.
- Mounting material must be supplied on site.
- Observeminimum distance “X” (→ Unit overview) to a fan (EZQ/DZQ, EZF/DZF) installed in the wall.

- Open the lamellae of the shutter, align the shutter.
- Mark the 4 drilling positions of the fixing holes, drill and insert the dowels.
- Place the protective grille on the back of the shutter.
- Screw the shutter including the protective grille to the wall with 4 screws.
- Fit the two deflection sleeves.
- Guide the pull cord through the wall/deflection sleeves.
- Attach the cord clamp at the installation site.
- Cut the pull cord to length and attach the pulling knob.
- Run function test. The shutters must open and close completely.
