Transport
WARNING
- Danger to life if the fan falls with improper or incorrectly attached transport equipment/lifting gear. Depending on the product family and type, the fan can weigh up to 80 kg. Comply with the applicable safety and accident prevention regulations. Observe the maximum permissible loading capacity of lifting gear.
- Only attach transport equipment (cables, chains etc.) to the intended attachment points on the fan.
EZQ/DZQ: Only attach the transport equipment to the square wall plate.
EZS/DZS: Only attach the transport equipment to the steel wall ring.
MDR EC: Only attach the transport equipment to the two ring nuts.
- Observe the centre of gravity (middle) during transport.
- For transport and storage, observe the technical data → installation and operating instructions.
- Wear protective gloves, when working with components with sharp edges, to avoid cuts.
- Only lift heavy fans with several people, especially in case of ceiling installation. For fan weight → rating plate. For heavy units, use a lifting device/lifting equipment suitable for the total weight.
- Do not stand under a suspended load.
- Check the fan for transport damage before installation. Do not commission a damaged unit.
