Installation of ventilation unit
When installing the ventilation unit under the ceiling, please note the following:
- The units feature the following types of screw heads: Covers on outside: M5x45, Torx 25; electrical box: M5x10, Allen 3. A suitable tool for loosening the screws should be provided by the customer.
- The load-bearing capacity of the ceiling, installation construction, dowels and screws must be designed for the weight of the unit, e.g. use heavy-duty dowels. Mounting material is to be provided by the customer.
- During installation, align the unit horizontally.
- The unit must be freely accessible for servicing/maintenance.
- Ceiling constructions (e.g. a suspended ceiling) must not touch the unit. If this is not the case, vibrations could be transferred, resulting in increased sound radiation.
- Provide adequate space (approx. 90 cm) under the unit for maintenance work. Measure the mounting holes on the top. Using the measurements recorded, produce your mounting points under the ceiling with the mounting material provided by the customer.
- Remove the top panels if fitted on the unit.
- With the aid of a lifting device, move the ventilation unit to the fixing construction.
- Screw the unit horizontally under the ceiling.
